You can easily find Turkish, French, Italian, Spanish Portuguese, Chinese, Indian, Japanese and Thai food throughout the city.  A few local favourites that can be bought from restaurants and street food vendors are: The döner kebab -a Turkish specialty with meat (usually lamb) thinly sliced from a vertical rotisserie, served with salad and sometimes chili sauce in a flatbread wrap. Currywurst - Grilled or fried sausage covered in a piquant tomato, onion, and curry powder sauce. Served at street stands throughout Berlin, usually with a side of pommes frites. Eisbein – Pork Knuckle served with sauerkraut. And of course the famous German Schnitzel!

Known for: Berlin is the capital of reunited Germany.  It is most famous for the wall that separated East Berlin from West Berlin. One of the three remaining sections of the Berlin Wall is now known as the Eastside Gallery, a part of the Wall that was painted with murals by artists from all over the world. A city filled with museums, architectural buildings, clubs and nightlife with a strong alternative community of artists, musicians and other creative types. Berlin has a friendly and creative atmosphere.
